THE CALENDAR REVs
Real Women - Real Ministers: This fun and provocative 8.5 x 11 calendar is brimming
with images of female ministers at work and at play, with their partners
and families. By purchasing this calendar, you will
not only helping us counter and satirize the stereotypes of women ministers,
but will help do some good in the world: Proceeds from each sale will go to the
Malala Fund, an international organization whose aim is to create
a world where girls are empowered to reach their potential through quality
education.

INDIGENOUS WOMEN IN COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP
The Coady International Institute's
award-winning Indigenous Women in Community Leadership program provides an
educational experience of a lifetime.   It
supports First Nations, Métis and Inuit women in building their capacities to
be strong leaders capable of strengthening and contributing to the development
of their communities.  This four-month
certificate program will take place from May to end of August 2015.
Successful candidates are provided with a full scholarship that includes
tuition, travel, accommodations, meals, and a three-month community placement
stipend.  Program participants also benefit from the guidance and
mentorship from accomplished Indigenous women leaders throughout their learning
journey.  Visit www.iwomenlead.ca to find more detailed
information on this certificate and to apply online.   Application
deadline is January 16, 2015.
