THE CALENDAR REVs
Real
Women - Real Ministers: This fun and provocative 8.5″ x 11″ calendar is brimming with images of
female ministers at work and at play, with their partners and families. By
purchasing this calendar, you will not only helping us counter and satirize the
stereotypes of women ministers, but will help do some good in the world:
Proceeds from each sale will go to the Malala
Fund, an international organization whose aim is to create a world where
girls are empowered to reach their potential through quality education.
UPDATE ON NARAMATA CENTRE
There is still no news on a new
collective bargaining agreement, but the Centre’s special fundraiser, the Crossroads Campaign
was a success, raising over half-a-million dollars in pledges in one
month.  This opens the possibility that the Centre will operate in 2015 as
it seeks to reimagine how it can serve the church and all who seek spiritual
enlightenment and nurture.

ST. DAVID’S CONNECTIONS COORDINATOR
Be sure to welcome Ms. Cathy Mundt as she begins her new
work as the congregation’s Connections Coordinator.  This position
does what its name implies - it helps make connections with people through
visiting and programming.  She can be reached at care@stdavidsleduc.com.
CHURCH OFFICE HOURS
Kate Peter, the church’s
Administrative Assistant, is in the church office on Tuesdays and Thursdays
from 9am to 1pm.  If you have information for the announcements or need to
book space at the church, contact her during those times.  You can always
email her or call the office (see info at top).
