TAX RECEIPTS
The charitable tax receipts for 2014 donations have all been picked up or mailed.  If you have not received yours yet or if you notice an error, contact Lois at finance@stdavidsleduc.com.

STAY CONNECTED WHILE AT THE CHURCH
The church office has a new computer for the Administrative Assistant and the bookkeeper to use.  Along with that, the church installed a new internet router.  It has a bit stronger signal and a dedicated “guest” wifi, separate from the office network.  Signs are up around the church with the guest login password.

SUNDAY MORNING STUDY CHATS
For the rest of March (8-29), come to church early on Sundays for a brief, but enlightening study and chat time.  Meet from 9:15am - 10:00am in the Nursery (south end of building).  Come for one or all of these times and engage your spirits.

SEEK JUSTICE, LOVE KINDNESS AND WALK HUMBLY WITH GOD

SEEDS OF HOPE FOR LEDUC’S HOMELESS
The Leduc & District Emergency Shelter Association (The Hub) invites you to their 2nd annual fundraiser night on April 18th that will include entertainment and a guest speaker. They will be announcing our plan to address the homeless challenge in Leduc County!  If you would like tickets or have donations for the silent auction, contact Susan Perry at (780)739-5482 or reception@lrhub.org.

THE GENIUS OF MARION
Come to the church on Sunday, March 15, 2015 (1pm) for a Screening of The Genius of Marion - a moving and fascinating documentary on Alzheimer’s Disease.  No cost – this movie is sponsored by the congregation’s Pastoral Care committee.

BEHOLD I MAKE ALL THINGS NEW
From August 8-15 in corner Brook NL, the United Church of Canada will hold its triennial General Council Meeting the 42nd since 1925.  This is where significant statements and changes from and for our church are decided upon.  Check the website regularly for information - especially during that week, when live streaming will be available - who knows you might see someone you know.

BETTER THAN A SELFIE
Every five years, St. David’s publishes a photo directory of those who are currently involved in the church.  2015 is that year.  You will be contacted to set up an appointment to have your picture taken sometime been April 22-25.  There is no cost to you to be part of the directory and you will receive a copy when it is completed.  If you would like to order pictures for yourself, you will be able to do that as well.

MAYORS’ PRAYER BREAKFAST
The County and City of Leduc have again teamed up with the Leduc Christian Ministerial Association to offer a morning of prayer and inspiration.  Get you tickets ($15) from the church office and come on March 21st (8am) to hear Danielle Strickland speak about her work with the Salvation Army in the area of human trafikking in Canada.

SAFEWAY and COOP GIFT CARDS
St. David’s can sell you gift cards for Safeway or Coop (at face value) every Sunday after church in a variety of value combinations.  There is no need to pre-order, we have them on hand.  You can take them home that day.  A percentage of the cost stays with the church as a fundraiser. 

BRING A FRIEND
It is well known that almost everyone who ever got involved in a church went first because someone they knew invited them.  We have something special going on at St. David’s.  You are encouraged to share your church.  Bring a friend on March 22nd.  There will be special refreshments and fun things planned.  Enjoy this video on the topic.

HONOURING CLEARWATER UNITED CHURCH
A rededication of the Clearwater United Church Cairn in its new home at the Clearwater Cemetery (just south of Beaumont) will take place at 2pm on Sunday, April 12, 2015: one week after Easter.

NEED A RIDE?
We have volunteers who will pick you up for Sunday services.  For a ride or information, contact Lynn Read @ 780-986-2096.

YOUTH GROUP
St. David’s is pleased to offer regular events for junior and senior high youth every second Friday - the next gathering is March 6th.  Bring your friends and come to the church at 7:00pm.  NOTE THE CHANGE OF TIME.  For more information contact, youth@stdavidsleduc.com.

FAITH FORMATION - CONFIRMATION - MEMBERSHIP
For any teens or adults who are interested in spending time exploring faith is invited to come for three before-church sessions on April 26, May 3 and May 10.  An opportunity for confirmation or church Membership can follow.  For more information, contact Rev Blaine.

CONTACT THE CHURCH
minister@stdavidsleduc.com  Rev. Blaine Gregg, the church’s Ordained Minister, welcomes your calls and visits to talk about life and faith.
care@stdavidsleduc.com  Cathy Mundt, the church’s Connection Coordinator, is happy to visit with people and share the care of the church.  She also is the person to talk to about ideas for events the church can put on to help bring people together.
office@stdavidsleduc.com  Kate Peter, the church’s Administrative Assistant, is in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 1pm.  If you have information for the announcements or need to book space at the church, contact her during those times.
mandp@stdavidsleduc.com  The Ministry and Personnel Committee of the church is the congregation’s liaison with all of the church staff.  If you have any comments (positive or negative) about the minister, connections coordinator, the admin assistant, the caretaker or the church music leaders, please share them with the M&P Committee.

finance@stdavidsleduc.com  Lois McMillan, the church bookkeeper, works closely with the Finance Committee to help the church understand the costs of its work.   Contact them, if you have any questions about church finances.
