CHURCH CALENDAR

TAX RECEIPTS
The charitable tax receipts for 2014 donations have all been picked up or mailed.  If you have not received yours by February 28th or if you notice an error, contact Lois at finance@stdavidsleduc.com.


STAY CONNECTED WHILE AT THE CHURCH
The church office has a new computer for the Administrative Assistant and the bookkeeper to use.  Along with that, the church installed a new internet router.  It has a bit stronger signal and a dedicated “guest” wifi, separate from the office network.  Signs are up around the church with the guest login password.


BLANKET EXERCISE
You are invited to take part in this powerful educational tool that seeks to bridge reconciliation between aboriginal and non-aboriginal people.  Sunday, February 15, 2015:  1pm–5pm at Southminster-Steinhauer United Church (10740-19 Ave, Edmonton, AB).  There is no cost, but please RSVP by emailing Aynsley info@smsuc.com or phoning 780-435-2028. PANCAKE SUPPER
Come to the church on Tuesday, February 17 from 5:30pm -7:00pm for a tasty Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper.  $5 for youth/adults - payable at the door.  What is Shrove Tuesday?  Read this.


YOUR MISSION AND SERVICE DOLLARS AT WORK
Watch this video to learn how High River United Church is ministering to its community with a dedicated staff person who supports people in and beyond the church in the aftermath of the 2013 flood.


MINISTER AWAY
Rev. Blaine Gregg will be out of the office from February 18th - 22nd attending to the work of Yellowhead Presbytery.  If you need to contact him during that time, use minister@stdavidsleduc.com or 780-951-0219.

MAYORS’ PRAYER BREAKFAST
The County and City of Leduc have again teamed up with the Leduc Christian Ministerial Association to offer a morning of prayer and inspiration.  Get you tickets ($15) from the church office and come on March 21st (8am) to hear Danielle Strickland speak about her work with the Salvation Army in the area of human trafikking in Canada.


UNITED IN LEARNING
Check out http://www.united-in-learning.com/ for a number of exciting and interesting on-line workshops and courses.  There are also some recorded webinars that you can watch anytime.  The courses offered changes frequently, so you’ll want to bookmark this one.



SAFEWAY and COOP GIFT CARDS
St. David’s can sell you gift cards for Safeway or Coop (at face value) every Sunday after church in a variety of value combinations.  There is no need to pre-order, we have them on hand.  You can take them home that day.  A percentage of the cost stays with the church as a fundraiser. 


YOUTH GROUP
St. David’s is pleased to offer regular events for junior and senior high youth every second Friday - the next gathering is February 20th.  Bring your friends and come to the church at 7:30pm.  For more information contact, youth@stdavidsleduc.com.


CONTACT THE CHURCH
minister@stdavidsleduc.com  Rev. Blaine Gregg, the church’s Ordained Minister, welcomes your calls and visits to talk about life and faith.
care@stdavidsleduc.com  Cathy Mundt, the church’s Connection Coordinator, is happy to visit with people and share the care of the church.  She also is the person to talk to about ideas for events the church can put on to help bring people together.
office@stdavidsleduc.com  Kate Peter, the church’s Administrative Assistant, is in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 1pm.  If you have information for the announcements or need to book space at the church, contact her during those times.
mandp@stdavidsleduc.com  The Ministry and Personnel Committee of the church is the congregation’s liaison with all of the church staff.  If you have any comments (positive or negative) about the minister, connections coordinator, the admin assistant, the caretaker or the church music leaders, please share them with the M&P Committee.

finance@stdavidsleduc.com  Lois McMillan, the church bookkeeper, works closely with the Finance Committee to help the church understand the costs of its work.   Contact them, if you have any questions about church finances.
