The next Yellowhead Presbytery meeting will be February 18-19 at Drayton Valley United Church.  St. David’s minister and its two congregational reps will be attending, but everyone is invited to join the gathering.  This one is especially interesting as we will talk about the changing structure of the United Church of Canada and be nominating people to attend the (all expenses paid) August 2015 General Council meeting in Cornerbrook NL - nominations are open to any United Church member.  For more info about GC, see the attachment.

SafewayCard.pngSAFEWAY GIFT CARDS
St. David’s can sell you gift cards for Safeway (at face value) every Sunday after church in a variety of value combinations.  There is no need to pre-order, we have them on hand.  You can take them home that day.  A percentage of the cost stays with the church as a fundraiser.

GIVING REGULAR OFFERINGS
For people who want to give weekly offerings to the church, the 2015 offering envelops are available at the church.  If you used envelopes in 2014 or want to begin using some, they are available at the church to be picked up.  This allows the church’s treasurer to issue you one receipt at the end of the year for all of your givings.  2014 tax receipts will be available before the end of February.
