AN EVENING IN BETHLEHEM
Calvary Baptist Church in Wetaskiwin (4910 Northmount Drive)
invites you to enjoy the real meaning of Christmas, by experiencing an outdoor
and indoor guided tour through Bethlehem – Live Animals; Live Actors;
Refreshments!  December 5, 6 and 7.  The door’s open from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.  The cost is a non-perishable donation to the
Wetaskiwin Food Bank.  
INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS DAY
This December 10th,
the John Humphrey Centre is proud to be hosting once again the
Third Annual Gall
Conference with this year's theme on Putting Children First. This
conference is intended for anyone with an interest in improving the well-being
and ensuring the fulfillment of children's rights in our community. For more

YOUTH GROUP
St. David’s is please to offer regular events for junior and
senior high youth every second Friday - the next gathering is, November 28th.  Bring your friends and come to the church at
7:30pm.  For more information contact, youth@stdavidsleduc.com.
HOLIDAY WREATHS DISPLAY
Local residents, schools, business, community organizations and clubs will
be helping us get in the season’s mood by displaying Holiday Wreaths at the
Leduc Civic Centre beginning December 2nd.  Come share the Spirit.

COORDINATOR
Be sure to welcome Ms. Cathy Mundt as she begins her new
work as the congregation’s Connections
Coordinator.  This position does what
its name implies - it helps make connections with people through visiting and

HUMAN RIGHTS AWARDS
The 8th Annual Human Rights City Edmonton Awards will be
handed out on December 10th in a ceremony beginning at 7pm in the ATB Financial
Arts Barns (10330 84 Avenue).  Come
celebrate local heroes.  Admission is by
donation.
RISING UP FOR HOPE AND HEALING
The Rise Up House, which works with women and children affected by
domestic violence, is holding a special evening to raise awareness and funds
for their ministry.  Get your $25 tickets
to attend the wine/cheese reception and art auction at 7pm on December 5th
at the Days Inn in Leduc.  For more info

NATIVI-TEA
Come to the church on December 6th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm and
enjoy a variety of teas, coffee and homemade treats surrounded by manger scenes
from many cultures and from around the world.  Just $5 payable at the
door.
SANTA’S HELPERS AUCTION
For the 31st year, an auction will raise money for one of
Leduc’s most successful Christmas outreach programs.  Santa’s Helpers
provide food hampers and gifts to a growing number of underprivileged families
in Leduc.  Come to the Leduc Rec Centre on December 6th at
11:00am.
WINTER REFRESHER
St. Andrew’s College invites everyone to their annual Winter Refresher, March 5th –
7th.  The theme this year is
“The Holy Spirit and the Environmental Crisis”, with Keynote speaker, Mark Wallace: a
professor of Religion and Interpretation Theory Coordinator at Swarthmore
College in Pennsylvania. Register early!

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 1pm.
